Creative Writing

I have been writing poems and short stories since I was a child. I studied creative writing more deeply while pursuing the Master of Arts in Writing from the University of North Alabama. The poems I enjoyed the most included golden shovel poems, bop poetry, villanelles, and prose poetry. My favorite genre of fiction is southern gothic fiction - I even completed a collection of short stories in that genre for my thesis project. To see some of my work, visit the pages below.
